Our guest column this week is written by Harry Felski. He is a world renown and expert in Hot Dog Training, Taming, and Racing. Harry received the “Fastest Wiener” award in 2019 for winning the Nathan’s Hotdog Racing Competition. Other accolades include “Best Wiener in Show - Wienstminster Dog Show 2017” and “Biggest Sausage - White Brat Open 2018”.

Rock climbing and hotdogs are one in the same. They both require the same special hand gripping techniques; that be crimping, pinching, meat hook, and even a fist jam.

Oh my goodness. That’s how I would describe that night I went to eat a hotdog at Bavarian Bierhaus. That statement can have two meanings, on one side it can mean “wowie, that hotdog sure is a belly filler” and on the other side it can mean “oof goof, that hotdog knows how to turn my belly upside down”. But I can’t just tell you what side that statement means, to do that I would need to start at the beginning.
